An alternate timeline au where the Squeaks stealing something somehow results in the events of a game getting canceled. Kirby themselves instead lives a happy, peaceful, and uneventful life while the Squeaks are stuck having to deal with everything.

The rest of the camp buries him and moves on, but when Wendy insists that Wilson take her to his grave, they find one of Maxwell's shadow puppets still standing. It seems to have a mind of its own, or perhaps Max is steering it from the grave? The answer is unclear, but Wilson finds company in the puppet despite hating the man who used to control it.

Alternate Webber Backstory

My headcannoned Webber backstory I thought up with waaaaaaaaaay before the official short came out. I do like the official explanation; it's very fable-esque. However, I go by my hc for a lot of the stories mentioned here, and DST's insistence on making everything connected is both lame and does not fit the above stories.
